Belonging, inclusion and diversity are core foundations that underpin a world class public service. When we foster a culture of belonging and inclusion, we see improvements in our workplace culture, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The NSW Government has made creating a 'world class public service' one of the Premier’s Priorities. This includes driving public sector diversity by 2025 through:
- having 50% of senior leadership roles held by women
- increasing the number of Aboriginal people in senior leadership roles
- ensuring 5.6% of government sector roles are held by people with a disability.
As a senior executive you have a key role to play in meeting the Premier’s Priority targets by creating workplace environments that are inclusive for all employees.
